Bio

Jean works mainly as a printmaker concentrating on etching and aquatinting.  She is inspired by the patchwork of the landscape and the movement of the sea, wide open views, trees, clouds and dramatic skies. She chooses colours because she thinks they look good and go well together. She likes to experiment with different types of aquatint and open bite plates to get an extra depth of field.
