Much of my practise in printmaking is spent working within the processes of Etching and Carborundum. Each method of working will be chosen for it’s qualities of line and breadth of marks for the task in hand and one might feed the other. I sometimes add Drypoint, Chine Colle or Monoprint into this mix. When I am not working on botanical studies, my subject matter relies largely on random thoughts and whims which often relate to personal and shared experiences of life, nature and the world around us.
